Fun This would be great in toddler or preschool storytime There is the counting aspect And how fun with the I Spy part and having them guess what might be next I think it should work uite well Though I m sorry but I will have to say octopi Can t help that part of the grammarian in me it just sounds better5912 Perfect The kids adored this one They loved the I Spy part They counted along with me go me in my preschool skill implementation There were some pages I couldn t even finish the text before kids were calling out what the creature was This is huge considering this smaller group are typically very uiet kids I did startle a couple when I jumped the book at the kids at the end with the shark And I peered through the hole in the back for the last page they liked that And yes I did say octopi7714 Used in Movement storytime Went well with all the kids older and younger They loved being able to guess what it was62117 Used in S theme for Early Literacy Moment I had the older kids spell the word of what the creature was since the words were in All Caps and that made it easier and younger kids count the number of creatures A very rambunctious group this week so they loved calling out what it was Though everyone thought whale except one boy who got dolphin right It was a lot of fun But I definitely had to calm them down after all of it
