FREE DOWNLOAD ó Sticks and Stones Broken Heart #2 For Lou it was always Dylan She loved him from the moment they first met across a cadaver in the dissection room at medical school The most gorgeous man she’d ever laid eyes on with Welsh charm than you could shake a stick at; she was a goner But Lou despite her beauty was just too extrovert to interest Dylan who was convinced that a uiet shy girl like Lou’s best friend Frankie was much his style ‘Have at it mate but I’ve got two words for you high maintenance’ ‘Don’t think I’d mind putting in the hard yards maintaining that piece of arse’ one of Dylan’s disgusting rugby mates replied ‘Well good luck to you’ Dylan returned looking completely relaxed now that they were discussing Lou and not his precious Frankie ‘I like mine heavy on the sweet and light on the ball breaking bitch but each to his own’ After overhearing that exchange Lou buries her pain and pines for him in private but she. Soooo here s the deal with this one It s a 5 star read for me because I reveled in the angst and I ve already had the pleasure of reading the first book in this series Broken Heart Syndrome This is a loud emotional book that reads a whole lot like chick lit and even with the total lack of steam I still loved this That should count for something The fact I could love AND hate Dylan throughout the entire story speaks to some goodness The heavy Welshisms had me paying some serious attention because let s face it as a California girl I m not privy to that slang most of the time I still enjoyed figuring it outThis REALLY isn t for everyone No sex no big incident that seals the deal good or bad but it somehow managed to work for me

Spoilers aheadFirst of all this felt like it was written in a different language added to the fact that I have to skip to the glossary to get the meaning of the words that were actually in another language and I was already regretting even cracking this thing openThen the h is the pining doormat typewho had some great moments but lost her greatness due to her love for the Hlisten this is PATHETIC If one is pining couldn t it be after someone who was deserving This guy was an asshole who hurt and embarrassed her who she s wanted for years who fancied himself in love with their friend and considered the h high maintenance I mean what does that say about her That she d even want someone like that Omg gurlllllllllThis guy Lol hulk smash he was a horrid hurtful lazy disgusting selfish petulant manwhore who I hated If this is a romance book hero I might as well start reading mysteries because I don t wanna read romance any Yes yes he flipped his script but by that point I already hated him and there s no going backI read ONE review of another book by this author and accidentally started this one firstthere won t be a second
