DK Life Stories Anne Frank Free read ð PDF, eBook or Kindle ePUB In this biography discover the incredible story of Anne Frank the courageous young writer who hid from the Nazis during World War II Anne Frank's diary is read by children and adults worldwide It tells two stories one of an extraordinary young girl living in hiding during one of the most fearsome times in history and one of a relatable young girl facing the same uestions and troubles that kids. The book Anne Frank by Stephen Krensy is a historical fiction novel It follows a girl named Anne Frank that grew up in the Holocaust Anne Frank only lived up to 15 during the Holocaust but in her lifetime she liked to write so she wrote down what was happening in her life She had a lot of things to deal with in her life so writing was how she calmed and expressed herself It helped her when she heard the Germans outside trying to find the jews hoping she wasn t gonna get found While she was hiding she had to be very uiet or else Anne Frank and her family would be taken away This book takes place in Germany The reason I say Germany is because that is where the Holocaust took place and when Hitler was trying to kill all the jews Anne Frank was in hiding in Germany so Hitler or any of his helpers wouldn t find them Anne Frank and her family constantly heard German fighter planes while they were searching for other jews Once Hitler or his helpers found the jews the older people and very young children was immediately condemned to death Anne and her sister Margot were put in a concentration camp their mom Edith Frank was murdered in Auschwitz Birkenau and their Dad Otto Frank was arrested and sent to the Westerbork transit concentration camp then to the Auschwitz concentration camp Sadly they all passed except the Dad Otto Frank My favorite part of this book is when they told me where they had to hide during the Holocaust Anne and her family have to hide in a secret annex The secret annex was a small entryway that was covered by a bookcase In the novel it states The bookcase swings open to reveal the entryway to the secret annex I think where they hid was a very clever idea The reason I say clever is because I would never think of someone hiding behind a bookcase The only time I have ever see that was in a movie Even though they still got found by the Germans they still hid for 2 years in the secret annex In the text it states But for all their preparations their long hours of planning and strategies they could only wait and see what the future held for them all This means that they put a lot of thought into this before they were sure their plan would work I would recommend this book to people who like to learn about the troubles in the past or like to learn about history The reason I say this is because this event happened in 1941 1945 Although this wasn t that long ago it still made history and we still learn about her to this day We learn what she went through and all the other jews went through trying not to get caught The main reason I say troubles is because in the end all the jews want was to live and instead they were running away from people that are trying to kill them Some jews lived and others sadly didn t but in the end it was a tragic event that happened in the past
