E–pub/E–book [Angel Song] Christian fiction keeps letting me down by being entirely and completely predictable and pretty dull Not to mention the 200 pages or less romances that I'm absolutely sick to death of reading Missionary dating over and over again let's git em saved so we can marry 'emThis one was a pleasant read little Nothing

E–pub/E–book [Angel Song] I'd actually rate this a 25 It's a good story The problem I have with this book as with most books published specifically for the Christian market is that the story is weak It's a good story there just isn't much depth to it You know pretty uickly how the whole story is going to end up

review Angel Song Angel Song summary è 8 BeforeThat unfamiliar unearthly beautiful melody keeps finding Ann first in the hospital chapel then in her dreams and finally in Sarah's empty houseTwo neighbors have a profound effect on Ann Ethan McKinney lends her a shoulder to lean on And as a carpenter he volunteers to help Ann get the Fletcher family home into shape for selling His strong presence is a pleasing distraction Ann's twelve. Ann woke up earlier than usual the next morning surprised by the silence Not one single note of music As much as this should have relieved her and it did to some degree it also left her feeling as though something was missingThis book had a slow start for me but I think it had to do with my mind still stuck on the other book I just finished Ann a woman in her early 30 s is someone who is soul searching and yearning for truth in her life Although she doesn t know uite where to find it she realizes that all along God is there with her even in times when He feels most absent While going back to her hometown Ann discovers parts of her life that she never wanted to revisit before those remnants she avoided for so long and that now were catching up to her She struggles like most women would and fights to keep her life in control She soon realizes that even when things don t make sense there is a God out there who has been watching her all this time Interwoven with beautiful imagery and striking characters Ann comes to acknowledge God by the people He sends to be a part of her life Their kindness and dedication is not one she understands and I think that s what s also great about this book It is a realization of how life is always constantly changing but a reminder in that the same that God will never change I like all the characters and there s a lot to learn and take from each one Keith who is a loving boy is often rejected and treated as an outsider because he has Down Syndrome His special ability and gift from God though is that he has a heart that loves without end and is unconditional Many would mistaken this as foolishness but I think we all need this kind of person in our livesthat will always be there to greet us and offer a hug when all things feels so complicated Keith does just that he is a suirming little joy that has a big heart One of my favorite lines in the book was this section Annie Annie I knew you d be back soon I just knew itAnn hugged back so amazed at the sense of love that seemed to follow this kid You did How did you knowIt told me soYour angelNo My heart didYour heart was rightYeah I know Never doubt your heart He said it as if he were telling her that the sun rises every morning and sets every night Overall this book is about the old meeting the new and how we can t come to understand our present lives without looking back at once was Although to me it has a bitter notation it reminds me all the same Ann I could relate to as a person because her hurts are deep and she is one who tries to run away and ignore the pain she feels She s brilliant beyond doubt but needs a little reminder from time to time that she must open her heart to truly love and be loved again

review Angel Song Angel Song summary è 8 Year old neighbor Keith has Down Syndrome and the guile to believe he can actually see and hear angels In fact he insists they are looking out for her in ways she's never imaginedGod begins to reveal himself to Ann both in her newfound friends and through supernatural events As she discovers the very real presence of angels around her will she finally open her heart to receive God's healing lov. You will definitely want to keep some tissues handy with this book It s one of those with an overall sadness to it Other than that I really enjoyed reading Angel SongI was expecting supernatural events from what I read in the description That s a very minor part of the book You re mostly left with the decision of what you want to believe about the book and the characters I couldn t help but think that the angels of this story are just as mysterious as the ones in the Bible God didn t give us a whole lot of information about angels I like to think He wants to save them as a surprise when we get to Heaven This is also one of those books that you know what s going to happen There really aren t any surprises and yet I was really drawn into the story and couldn t wait to see exactly how things came togetherI grew to love most of the characters You can t help but love Keith It really brought to my mind the verses about having faith like a child This book will really make you think about angels and people in general After reading this book I plan on re reading the Bible story of Hagar because it is mentioned several times throughout the bookI m so glad that I got to read this book and I highly recommend itThis review copy for provided to me from Thomas Nelson Publishers in exchange for my honest opinion
